The CNC Turning Process

(1)Workpiece Mounting:

The programming includes information about tool paths, cutting speeds, feed rates, and other parameters necessary to achieve the desired shape and dimensions of the part.

(4)Machining Operation:
Once the programming and setup are complete, the CNC turning process begins. The cutting tool can move in various directions, including along the length (longitudinal feed) and across the diameter (cross feed) of the workpiece.
